About GTA 6 Planner
An independent, fan-made set of tools to plan for the GTA 6 launch - the countdown, the cost, and the download.
What this site is
GTA 6 Planner is a free, ad-supported hobby project built by a fan waiting for the same launch you are. It does three things: a live countdown with your local unlock time, a cost calculator for the game plus any hardware you still need, and a download-time calculator so your copy is ready before the servers go live.
Where our data comes from
Every figure on this site traces back to a primary source, not a rumour feed. Specifically:
- Release date & platforms - from Rockstar Games' official announcements. GTA 6 is dated November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- Unlock times - calculated from each region's timezone against the expected midnight-local unlock. If Rockstar confirms a single global unlock instead, we update the model.
- Prices - console and edition prices reflect publicly listed retail pricing; currency conversions use published exchange rates.
- Download times - estimated from the expected file size and your connection speed, with real-world overhead built in.
Nothing is confirmed until Rockstar says so
Where a detail hasn't been officially confirmed - the exact unlock hour, the final file size, preload timing - we label it as an estimate rather than guess a specific number. The data is reviewed regularly and the "last verified" date in the footer reflects the most recent check. Spotted something out of date? Tell us.
